In Year 11, you start developing good study / work habits like time management, self-motivation, organisation and a balanced lifestyle. These habits will be useful in Year 12 and for the rest of your life.
If you're thinking about going to university, pay attention to your subject selection. Speak to your career adviser about assumed knowledge or prerequisites for university courses.
At CDU, you will have opportunities to participate in several events on campus where you can speak with staff and students about life as a CDU student.

VSS helps you develop job-ready skills while completing high school. CDU offers a range of VET programs for secondary school students across the Northern Territory.

CDU Open Day
Held annually at CDU's Casuarina campus, this popular community event showcases all of CDU's VET and Higher Education study opportunities. For prospective students, this event is a perfect opportunity to explore our campus and talk with lecturers and current students.

The NT Skills, Employment and Career Expos are a brilliant opportunity to explore potential career options and gain information on employment, training and education pathways. CDU has information stalls at numerous career expos throughout the year, both in the NT and interstate.

VET for Secondary Schools Information Days
An opportunity for students, teachers and parents to attend information sessions about CDU VSS courses at different campuses, and to view the different learning spaces where each course is run. Attendees will have the chance to speak with class trainers to get an insight into different VSS programs.
